Our Story: 

The founder Sivaswamy Vannadil discovered his love for chess in 1974. He trained with passion and dedication building up on the foundation of solid Chess game play.

He also introduced and  trained his wife Prasanna Sivaswamy. This way chess became a common language in the family. They started winning Championship matches and remained  state champions ( in Men and Women category respectively).

In the early 90’s they began training youngster’s who now holds GM, IM, FIDE rated and other prestigious titles.

Following this his student base has expanded over North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Our mission is to propagate chess among community members and create as many rated players in and around our town.
